Competition Rules
Central Region Junior Football Association plays to the rules of the game as per FIFA and Football Australia (FA). The 2025 version of the CRJFA competition rules are based on the FA Mini Roos National Playing Formats and Rules, with the modifications as per the guidelines below for the different development stages.

Applies to all CRJFA matches, training sessions, and sanctioned activities.
Safety First – Why This Rule Exists
Under the Laws of the Game (Law 4 – Players’ Equipment), players must not wear anything dangerous to themselves or others. Plaster casts and rigid supports pose a significant risk because they are hard, inflexible, and can cause injury on contact.
CRJFA follows the safety standards of Football Australia and Football Tasmania.

The Central Region Junior Football Association (CRJFA) is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable football environment where every child has the opportunity to learn, develop and love the game.
Football is about much more than results. It builds confidence, resilience, friendships and a sense of belonging. Every child deserves the opportunity to enjoy these experiences in an environment that is positive, respectful and supportive.
Everyone involved in CRJFA competitions and events shares responsibility for creating that environment.

Photography Guidelines
The Central Region Junior Football Association (CRJFA) recognises that photography, video recording, and digital media are now a normal part of junior sport.
Parents, carers, clubs and schools regularly take photos and record matches to celebrate participation, capture memories, support player development, analyse games, and promote football positively within the community.
At the same time, CRJFA has a responsibility to provide a safe, respectful, and child-focused environment for all participants.
These guidelines aim to balance those interests by setting clear expectations around photography, filming, and the use of digital media at CRJFA affiliated activities.
